FAQs
If you’ve been injured, let us help fight for your compensation.
Am I allowed to choose my own doctors for my workplace injury?
Not usually. New Jersey workers’ compensation law states that the employer and their insurer have the right to select the doctor an employee will see after a workplace injury. This is because they are responsible for providing medical care to the injured worker.
However, if you are unhappy with your care, you can get a second opinion and file a motion for a change in treatment plan and care provider. Consult a workers’ compensation attorney if you feel you are receiving inadequate care from your employer-chosen doctor after your workplace injury.
